COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS TENABLE IN CANADA 2004-2005 Applications are invited from suitably qualified Nationals to pursue postgraduate studies at Canadian Universities commencing September 2004.
The Scholarships are intended for candidates who are holders of an Upper Second Class degree. No awards will be made for a second doctoral degree, studies in Medicine or Dentistry, postdoctoral studies/research, clinical training, executive MBAs. Previous Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship recipients are not eligible for a second award.

COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS TENABLE IN TRINIDAD & TOBAGO 2004
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Nationals to pursue postgraduate studies at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Trinidad & Tobago commencing September 2004.
These awards are for postgraduate study in the Faculties of Agriculture and Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Engineering, Humanities and Education, School of Natural Science, Institute of International Relations and the Institute of Business. Please note that awards are not granted in the field of Medicine.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least Lower Second Class Honours from a recognized University. Preference will be given to candidates who have graduated with a Bachelors or Masters Degree after August 1999.

COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS TENABLE IN
The New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan is offering awards to pursue postgraduate study in New Zealand commencing February 2005.
The New Zealand Committee wishes to emphasize the following points:
§ Applicants for PhD study must have a minimum standard of upper second class honours;
§ Applicants for other courses must have a minimum standard of a Bachelor’s degree with at least an average ‘B’ grade;
§ There is no upper age limit, but scholarships are available only to candidates who have graduated from a qualifying degree programme within the last five (5) years.

Commonwealth Scholarships Tenable in Malta 2004
The Ministry of Education in Malta has recently announced the offer of the first Commonwealth Scholarship to pursue postgraduate study in Malta commencing October 2004.
The following points should be noted:
§ The scholarship will be tenable at the University of Malta; Before taking up a scholarship, a candidate must hold a first degree or equivalent qualification with upper second class honours or above; § There is no restriction with respect to the age of candidates. However preference will be given to those candidates who have obtained a university degree within the last five (5) years.
